2013 Outdoors: Received honorable mention All-American recognition in the decathlon…Also named an Academic All-American by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA)…Competed in the decathlon at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, but had to withdraw due to injury after five events…Finished second in the high jump with a clearance of 6’6¾ at the Roadrunner Invitational on April 5…Placed first in the pole vault (16’0¾), second in the 110 meter hurdles (14.76) and third in the long jump (22’7¼) at the Metropolitan Outdoor Championships on April 13…Won the decathlon with 6851 points, despite not scoring in the high jump, at the Larry Ellis Invitational on April 16-17…Earned MAAC Performer of the Week honors for that effort…Took home three silver medals (high jump-6’6¼, pole vault-15’3, javelin-174’0) and added a pair of fourth-place finishes (110 hurdles-15.6, long jump-22’10½) at the MAAC Outdoor Championships on May 4-5…Shattered the school and IC4A records with a score of 7767 points in the decathlon at the IC4A Outdoor Championships on May 10-11…Cleared 16’10¾ in the pole vault, equaling the second-best mark in program history, during the competition…Qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round in the pole vault, but opted not to compete in order to focus on the NCAA Championships decathlon.
2012-13 Indoors: Cleared 16’4¾ to win the pole vault competition at the Manhattan College Opener on Dec. 1…Selected as MAAC Performer of the Week on Dec. 11 after taking first place in the long jump (22’7), high jump (6’8¼) and 60 meter hurdles (8.1) against Columbia on Dec. 7…Scored 5819 points in the heptathlon at the Brother Jasper Invitational on Dec. 14, breaking the school record by more than 300 points and earning MAAC Performer of the Week honors…Capped off that record-setting performance by posting a personal-best time of 2:43 in the 1000 meters…Took first in the pole vault (15’9) and 60 hurdles (8.39), and finished second in the long jump (22’3½) at the NYU Team Challenge on Jan. 19…Secured first place in the pole vault (16’1¾) and long jump (22’7¾) while also placing second in the 60 hurdles (8.17) and fourth in the high jump (6’5½), as Manhattan won the Metropolitan Indoor Championship on Jan. 24…Named Most Outstanding Performer for Field Events at the MAAC Indoor Championships (Feb. 15) after scoring points in five different events (pole vault-2nd, 15’9; high jump-4th, 6’4¼; long jump-4th, 22’2½; 60 hurdles-4th, 8.29; shot put-6th, 46’11¾)…Shared the bronze medal in the pole vault (16’2¾) and also competed in the 60 hurdles at the ECAC Indoor Championships on March 1.
International: Represented Germany at the 2013 Thorpe Cup, an annual multi-event dual meet against the United States, finishing 13th in the decathlon with 7075 points.
Before Manhattan: Attended the University of Applied Sciences in Munich…Scored a personal-best 7528 points in the decathlon at Gotzis, Austria on June 11-12, 2011…Set personal-bests in the 400 meters (49.98), shot put (45’3¾) and javelin (183’11) during that competition.
