JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The box office intern will support the men’s and women’s ticket sales efforts of Manhattan College athletics by developing strategies for ticket sales for marquee games, call various community organizations for group sales, coordinate groups attending games with compliance for complimentary tickets, and overseeing will call operation. This position will manage ticket sales of games over the phone and develop plans to increase online ticket sales.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Manage and learn ticket sales software
2) Assist with gameday ticket sales and marketing efforts including social media, email blasts, and community outreach
3) Sell tickets over the phone to customers
4) Build a plan for outreach to local community groups to increase ticket sales

Purpose: The purpose of this program is to develop the intern into a knowledgeable and experienced compliance administrator. The intern should then be able to meet qualifications for an entry level Division I compliance administrator position. This program is meant to last either for one academic semester or one academic year, for at least 10-15 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Seeking undergraduate or graduate student with a desire for a career in compliance or a related field such as law.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1) Become familiar with the monitoring program and assist in monitoring various areas including recruiting, awards, complimentary admissions, and playing & practice seasons
2) Oversee maintenance of yearly student-athlete electronic files in all sports, including filing and daily
maintenance
3) Become familiar with LSDBi and assist in the research and gathering of information related to violations and waivers
4) Input and manage data in NCAA Compliance Assistant
5) Assist with the creation of rules education sessions and tip sheets
6) Attend and participate in weekly compliance staff meetings
7) Assist with complimentary ticket lists duties for men’s & women’s basketball home competitions
8) Perform additional duties and special projects as directed by the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance & Student-Athlete Development or other staff members
9) Present feedback project to compliance staff members regarding comprehensive internship program

JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The graphic design intern will support the marketing efforts of Manhattan College athletics by being the leader for developing new design concepts, graphics and layouts for use in traditional and digital advertising. This position will work on graphics design for all 19 of the department's sports and special events.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Design and create graphics for social media, game programs, website, digital signage, print and posters
2) Oversee production schedule for print projects including meeting milestones
3) Work closely with the campus Marketing & Communications department to ensure college brand is maintained
4) Create graphic elements for email, web, print projects (brochures, table tents, flyers) and invitations
5) Assist in creating in-game graphic elements for fan engagement

The Jasper Club intern will oversee the stewardship and recognition of the Jasper Club, Manhattan Athletics’ giving society. This position will be responsible for oversight of the basketball Jasper Club on gamedays.

1) Work with coaches to ensure donors are being thanked for their giving
2) Coordinate the basketball Jasper Club including credentials, entrance to the club and catering of refreshments
3) Assist in the planning and execution of special events for athletics

1) Manage and execute the social media strategy for Manhattan College athletics across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more
