Club Sports
Manhattan University Club Sports programs fall under the Office of Student Engagement and are only for current Manhattan University students. In the 2024-2025 academic year, we are proud to be offering 6 club sports. If you would like to learn more about joining or starting a club please email Recreation@Manhattan.edu.
Esports
The Manhattan College Esports Team is a co-ed competitive team. Four games are offered to students: Overwatch, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Valorant. The team competes at the Division-1 level in the MAAC Conference. In Fall of 2024, the MAAC announced its partnership with the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) for support and management of Esports. Each week our teams will compete online against other Esports programs in the MAAC. The 2025 MAAC Tournament will be a hybrid format with the first two rounds being virtual and the semi-finals and championship being held at Contender Gaming Center of Hudson Valley. Last year our Valorant team won the MAAC title at the 2024 MAAC Championships in Atlantic City! For more information please see the contact info below.
Flag Football
Manhattan University Flag Football team is a co-ed that practices and competes against local colleges and universities in the NYC Metro area. The team also competes at the NIRSA 1 Regional Championships every year in College Park, MD. All students are welcomed to tryout, no experience is required, but is recommended. Rowing
The Manhattan University Rowing team is one of our longest-running sports. It was established in 1932 and is one of the founding schools of the Dad Vail Regatta. Our rowers’ technique and endurance are further strengthened during training trips during winter and/or spring break.
Our co-ed rowing team is open to all students willing to learn and compete at the collegiate level.Our boathouse is located at in New Rochelle, NY. We compete in several different regattas all throughout the year. If you would like more information on how to join please see our contact info below.

Ultimate Frisbee
The Manhattan University Ultimate Frisbee Team is a group of athletes committed to the fast-paced, strategic game of Ultimate. Open to players of all skill levels, the team provides a space for students to develop their skills, compete, and represent the university at the USAU Metro New York Regional Tournament.
