Prior to College: Attended Metuchen High School… Lost freshman season to COVID-19 but went on to record an outstanding high school career… As a sophomore, batted .421 with a .772 slugging percentage… Hit .394 with a .620 slugging percentage as a junior… In her senior year, posted a .439 batting average and a 1.030 slugging percentage with 11 home runs and 37 RBIs… Finished high school with a career batting average of .418, totaling 81 hits, 16 home runs, 72 RBIs, and 61 runs scored… Served as team captain and was named First Team All-Red Division her senior year… Played club softball for New Jersey Intensity… High Honor Roll all four years… Earned the Global Seal of Biliteracy and was a member of the Spanish National Honor Society and National Honor Society… Daughter of Lisette and Arthur Flaherty… Majoring in Childhood Education with a concentration in Spanish.
