Prior to college: Attended Fairfax High School in Fairfax, Virginia, where she was a four-year varsity starter in soccer and also played two years of varsity basketball… Served as a two-year team captain… Earned numerous soccer accolades including First Team All-District, Second Team All-District, First Team All-Region, and Honorable Mention All-Met by The Washington Post… Recipient of an Advanced Diploma and member of the National Honor Society… Played club soccer for Fairfax Brave ECNL (formerly BRYC Elite Academy ECNL)… Daughter of Ellen and Daniel Brunk… Majoring in Exercise Science.

Why Brunk Chose Manhattan: “I chose Manhattan University because of the tight-knit community here on campus. I knew as soon as I stepped on campus that I loved the smaller campus feel and being able to know everyone. Also, the access to the city is definitely a perk!”
