Hammer Throwers Shine at Penn Relays; Kristeller Takes Second and Brennan Grabs Sixth

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The tandem of Alex Kristeller and Paul Brennan emerged as a storyline on Thursday at the Penn Relays while representing the Jaspers in the Men's Hammer Throw event. It was a productive showing for both, with Kristeller earning second place and Brennan grabbing sixth place in the Men's Hammer Throw. 

HIGHLIGHTS

• Kristeller's best attempt came on his sixth throw, which measured 66.64m.

• Brennan's best hurl came on his third attempt, registering at a distance of 62.77m.

• Kenneth Ikeji of Harvard won the event with a score of 71.91m. Ikeji was the runner-up in the hammer throw at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Manhattan track & field athletes will compete on Friday in the Lions Invitational hosted by The College of New Jersey. The two-day event runs on Friday and Saturday live from the TCNJ Track & Field Complex.
