Jaspers Finish the Weekend with Strong Performances Led by Event Wins from Brennan and Caraher

RALEIGH, NC/MAHWAH, NJ – The Manhattan University Men's and Women's Track and Field program wrapped up the weekend's competitions with top 3 finishes, season bests and personal bests.

Paul Brennan won the men's Hammer Throw at the Ramapo Invitational with a significant personal best of 64.79m. He followed that performance finishing third in the men's Discus. Alexandra Caraher added an event win in the women's Hammer Throw with a throw of 51.35m. Alex Kristeller had a strong performance in the men's Hammer Throw at Raleigh Relays throwing 66.82m, good for fourth. Both Brennan and Kristeller will be strong contenders to qualify for the NCAA East Preliminary Round.

Naiylah Shepherd and Jaiden Bradshaw added two third place finishes at the Ramapo Invitational in the women's hammer throw and men's 800m respectively.

The following athletes enjoyed personal best performances: Natalia Cieslak (W Hammer Throw), Tranira Booker (W 200), Jaden Walker (M 100), Brian Oduor (M 400), Jack Flanagan (M 1500).

The Jaspers will compete again next weekend at the Metropolitan Championship on Friday April 4th and Colonial Relays Friday and Saturday April 4th and 5th.
