In the top of the 10th with the score tied at 2-2, sophomore
Gabriella Mazzotta (Somers, NY / Somers) led off with a single, before scoring on
Kylie Carr's (Jr., Andover, NJ / Immaculate Heart Academy) run-scoring triple. Sophomore
Kaitlyn Flood (Southbury, CT / Pomperaug) followed with a RBI single that pushed home Carr while extending the Jaspers' advantage out to 4-2.
Quinnipiac would get a run back in the bottom of the 10th, but was unable to get any closer as Williams induced a ground out to end the game while stranding the tying run 90 feet from home.
Trailing 1-0 in the top of the fourth inning, the Jaspers broke through with a pair of runs. Junior
Annie Moore (Northridge, CA / El Camino Real), sophomore
Marika Deemer (Perrysburg, OH / Perrysburg) and senior

The Bobcats would tie it up at 2-2 in the sixth inning with a single score while setting the stage for Manhattan's extra-inning heroics.
Mazzotta had three hits and Moore two to account for half of the Jaspers' 10 hits.
Williams (2-1) yielded one earned run on hits with nine strikeouts over 10.0 innings in collecting the victory.
