Ant Nelson (New York, NY / Seton Hall) picked up his first career double-double (15 points, 11 rebounds), but it wasn't enough as Manhattan dropped an 84-79 double-overtime heartbreaker to Quinnipiac in MAAC action at the People's United Center.

Warren Williams (Kingston, Jamaica / St. Benedict's Prep (NJ) also had a strong game, scoring all 19 of his points after halftime, including 10 in overtime, while narrowly missing a double-double with nine rebounds.
Williams, who forced overtime with a three-point play late in regulation, was 6-of-10 from the floor, and 7-for-9 from the line, with two blocks in 27 minutes.
The Jaspers fall to 2-4 and 1-4 in the MAAC, while the Bobcats improve to 3-2 and 1-0 in the league.

* Manhattan was dominant on the glass to the tune of a 50-36 advantage, highlighted by grabbing 19 on the offensive end that led to a 13-6 advantage on second-chance opportunities.
* The Jaspers also collected 11 steals and forced 17 turnovers.
* Manhattan, which trailed by 14 early in the first half, turned a five-point deficit early in the second half into a 49-41 lead with 12:13 to play in regulation thanks to a 15-2 run.

* Williams started the first extra session with a pair of free throws and a thunderous dunk, before Nelson sent the game to a second overtime thanks to a free throw with 8.4 seconds remaining
* At the end of regulation and the first overtime, Quinnipiac was unable to get a shot off due to a tenacious Jasper defense.
* After Nelson opened the second overtime with a pair from the line, Williams converted a layup with the shot clock at one to put Manhattan up 74-72 with 2:28 to play.

Ebube Ebube (San Juan, Puerto Rico / Lawrenceville Academy (NJ)) matched Buchanan with seven points while adding six rebounds in 20 minutes off the bench.
* The Manhattan defense forced Quinnipiac into just 23.8 percent (5-of-21) shooting from long range, and over the last three games have forced the opposition into 19.2 percent (10-of-52) from deep.
* Offensively, the Jaspers assisted on 15 of their 26 field goals.
* Tymu Chenery scored 17 points to pace Quinnipiac, which shot 45.0 percent (27-of-60) from the floor.
