Hamden, CT - Manhattan ripped off 11-straight points midway through the second half, en route to posting a hard-fought 45-42 MAAC victory at Quinnipiac.
Seven different Jaspers notched at least five points, as the Green & White improves to 3-4 and 2-4 in the league, while the Bobcats fall to 3-3 and 1-1 in the MAAC.

Warren Williams (Kingston, Jamaica / St. Benedict's Prep (NJ)) and
Elijah Buchanan (Bronx, NY / Woodstock Academy (CT)) hit back-to-back layups to make it a one-point game.

Samba Diallo (Rufisque, Senegal / UMass) then hit a tough jumper, before stealing it and flushing an emphatic dunk to give the visitors a 36-33 advantage with 7:39 remaining in regulation. On the ensuing possession, classmate
Samir Stewart (Fort Lauderdale, FL / American Heritage) stole the ball before finding Douglas-Stanley from long range to cap Manhattan's 11-0 spurt.
The Jasper advantage would reach a game-high nine at 44-35 following a runner from junior
Ant Nelson (New York, NY / Seton Hall) and a three pointer from Buchanan.
All told, Manhattan registered a game-changing 19-4 spurt over 8:26, while allowing just one field goal.
Quinnipiac wouldn't go away quietly though, responding with a 7-1 run of its own to make it a one-possession game. The Bobcats would then misfire on a pair of late-game triple tries that would have forced overtime.

Steve Masiello is now all alone in third place in the all-time Manhattan records with his 143rd victory.
* The Jaspers posted advantages of 13-3 in fastbreak points, and 10-4 in second-chance opportunities.
* Manhattan improves to 60-11 (.845) under Masiello when limiting opposing teams to less than 60 points.
* Defensively, the Jaspers limited Quinnipiac to a season-best 31.8 percent (14-of-44) shooting.
* The Green & White allowed just 42 points, marking the fewest surrendered since beating UNC Asheville 54-38 on November 18, 2018.

Ebube Ebube (San Juan, Puerto Rico / Lawrenceville Academy (NJ)) pulled down a team-high nine rebounds to go along with two points.
* Diallo added seven points and Douglas-Stanley six points with a career-high five rebounds, as the bench outscored the starters by a 23-22 count.
* Manhattan used a 9-0 run that bridged the end of the first half, and the beginning of the second to erase an early eight-point deficit.
* Stewart scored all of his team-leading eight points in the first half while adding two assists and two steals.
* The Jaspers turned the ball over a season-low six times.
* Buchanan had five points, four rebounds, two blocks and a steal in 36 minutes one night after playing 47 minutes.
