Thomas Jacob Freeman qualified for the Hammer Throw Finals at the Olympic Trials that are being held this weekend in Sacramento, CA. His third throw of 69.57m placed him in fifth place just .11m behind third and fourth place finishers. Only the top 15 throwers qualify for the finals. Freeman will compete in the finals on Monday, July 12 at 8:30 pm.
Assistant coach Lauren Primerano competed last night in the Javelin and finished 20th after her toss of 41.37m. Manhattan graduate Patrick McGrath also competed in the Hammer Throw and finished 23rd.
