Biography

2010: Selected to the MAAC All-Academic Team for the second straight season...Appeared in 18 contests, mainly as a pinch runner...Made one start in right field and one in left field...Scored five runs...Drew a pinch hit walk and eventually came around to score in the second game of a twinbill at Fordham on April 6...Tallied Manhattan's only run in a 2-1 loss to Siena in game one of a doubleheader on April 24.

2009: Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team...Played in 24 games, including 13 starts...Smashed a pinch-hit double against Gardner-Webb on March 8...Scored three runs during the Rebel Spring Games, crossing the plate against La Salle (March 14) and Green Bay twice (March 20, March 21)...Started the final five games of the season in right field.

2008: Saw action in 11 games, including three starts...Entered the game as a pinch runner and scored first career run against Columbia in the Rebel Games on March 20...Smacked first career hit, an RBI triple, in an 8-0 Manhattan victory in the second game of a MAAC doubleheader at Rider on April 20...Made first start behind the plate in the nightcap of a twinbill against La Salle on April 24...Started both ends of a doubleheader at Stony Brook on May 1, starting the opener in left field and the nightcap in right field.

Before Manhattan: Spent one season at SUNY Cortland, where the Red Dragons went 18-0 and won the SUNYAC Championship in 2007...Received Warwick Valley High School's Coaches Award for sportsmanship and leadership in 2002...Named team MVP in 2003...Inducted into the National Honor Society in 2004...Invited to attend the National Young Leader Conference in Washington, D.C.
