LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL — Manhattan men's golf rode the hot club of sophomore Akshay Mandadapu (-3) to finish with a team score of Even after round one of the MAAC Championships held at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course. The Jaspers sit in sixth place as a team with two rounds left.
HIGHLIGHTS

Mandadapu carded five birdies in round one, with four of them coming on the back nine.

Freshman Louis Vandeputte was second the best scorer for the Jaspers with a score of 70 (-2). The Belgian registered three birdies on the day.

Freshmen Cabell Faulkner and Róbert Leó Arnórsson shot 74 (+2) and 75 (+3) respectively to account for the Jaspers' third and fourth scorers.
