NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Manhattan (13-10, 8-6 MAAC) will look to keep its foot on the gas pedal when the Jaspers arrive at the Hynes Center on Friday night to take on bitter rival Iona (11-15, 8-7 MAAC) at 7 P.M. on ESPNU. The match-up pins the Jaspers' 146th-ranked offense, according to KenPom's offensive efficiency metric, versus Iona's 180th-ranked defense according to the same metric system. Manhattan is eyeing its first season sweep of Iona since the 2006-07 season. Iona leads the series all-time 63-45 dating back to 1946.
