RIVERDALE, N.Y. – Manhattan men's lacrosse returns to Gaelic to host Mount St. Mary's this Sunday.
Manhattan (0-5) will continue their homestand this week, hosting Mount St. Mary's (0-6) top open MAAC play.
Both the Jaspers and the Mountaineers will be entering this game seeking their first win of the season. The Mount and the Jaspers have a long history, dating back to 2006. The Jaspers currently lead the all-time series between the two teams at 5-4. The Jaspers have defeated the Mount in their past two matchups, with the most recent victory being a 9-3 win.
This game is particularly important for the Jaspers, not only because it presents an opportunity to break their winless streak but also because their leading record against the Mountaineers is at stake.
The Jaspers will be coming into this game after having lost to Bryant at home, suffering a 12-7 defeat.
Leading the Jaspers this season in goals is Kyle Gucwa with eight for the season.
The game is scheduled to take place this Sunday, March 10, at 12:00 PM in Riverdale, N.Y.
