RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan men's basketball team (5-21, 2-15 MAAC) travels to Siena on Friday, then Saint Peter's on Sunday for a pair of road games.
The Preview: The all-time series between Manhattan and Siena has the Jaspers trailing 33-20. After a four-game win streak over the Saints, the Jaspers dropped the last outing on Feb. 10, 68-63. The Jaspers are 19-6 against Siena on the road, with the last victory coming on March 2, 2023. Last time out,
Seydou Traore scored 16 points and pulled down seven rebounds.
Daniel Rouzan scored 12 points for the Jaspers, while
Logan Padgett added nine points and seven rebounds.
The all-time series between Manhattan and Saint Peter's has the Jaspers leading 28-22. Manhattan is on a one-game losing streak to the Peacocks. The Jaspers trail St. Peter's 15-9 on the road. Last time out, Manhattan played Saint Peter's on Jan 14, 2024, with a 68-81 loss.
Daniel Rouzan recorded a career-high 22 points, six rebounds, and four assists.
The Opponent: Siena (4-23, 3-13) is 10th in the league standings having lost its last three games. The Saints enter Friday's game first in blocks with 4.22 and fourth in team rebounds (35.8). Sean Durugordon is averaging 19.4 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
Saint Peter's sits third in the MAAC standings (15-11, 11-6 MAAC) and is on a four-game win streak. Saint Peter's is second in scoring defense (63.5) and second in opponent field goal percentage (.422). Corey Washington leads the Peacocks with 16.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.

Seydou Traore had one heck of a game versus Marist. He registered 18 points, 14 rebounds, three blocks, and one assist in Manhattan's lone game of the week.
Shaquil Bender leads Manhattan in overall scoring at 13.4 points per game.
By the Numbers: Manhattan enters the week ranked second in the MAAC in assists (14.40) and fourth in steals (7.72).
Individually, Traore ranks first in the MAAC in blocked shots (1.3) and second in rebounding (8.5), Rouzan ranks eighth in field goal percentage (.523),
Jaden Winston ranks second in assists (4.7) and second in steals (2.2).
