RIVERDALE, NY -
The best start to a season under head coach Heather Vulin is long in the rearview mirror, as the Jaspers have dropped three-straight games dating back to December 7th at Vermont. Manhattan returns home for a pair of crucial matchups, against a tough Siena Saints team, who has started out its conference season with back to back victories over Niagara and Canisius. The Jaspers have averaged 52.3 points in their last three, while giving up ten more than its logged. Guard Nitzan Amar paces Manhattan averaging 10.5 points-per-game during the mini-skid. She and Petra Juric lead the team in averaging double-digit points this season. The last meeting between Siena and Manhattan, four Saints tallied double-digit points, while the elder Juric logged a double-double with 14 points and 10 boards in the commanding Saints victory to open up February.

Scouting the Opposition:

•Siena is led by first year head coach Terry Primm, who has been a member of the Saints' staff for the last four years prior under former head coach Jim Jabir's staff.

•Leading the charge for the Saints is Ahniysha Jackson, who paces the team with 14.9 points-per-game, and ranks fourth in the MAAC. Additionally, Jackson was named to the All-MAAC Preseason Second Team. Joining Jackson in October was Anajah Brown, who was also selected to the Preseason Second Team, and junior guard Teresa Seppala, who was named to the All-MAAC Preseason First Team.

•The Saints fell in their most recent contest against the Ivy League's Cornell Big Red by a tight score of 76-73 on Monday evening. It was the first time Siena faced their Upstate NY rival in four decades, and the first as a Division One opponent.

•Teresa Seppala logged double-digit points for the 17th straight game, dating back to the 2023-24 campaign, with a whopping 31 point performance on Monday night against the Big Red. Seppala also logged her first double-double of the season.

•The Saints were selected to finish second in the Preseason Coaches Poll.
