RIVERDALE, NY — Ahead of tonight's match at Sacred Heart, the Manhattan Men's Soccer program clinched a berth in the MAAC Tournament which will begin on Sunday, Nov. 10. Manhattan cannot drop any lower than the eighth seed in the eight-team tournament following Saint Peter's 4-0 loss vs. Iona and Quinnipiac's 3-1 win over Fairfield.
The Jaspers still have a chance to host in the quarterfinals round on Sunday if Manhattan wins at Sacred Heart and the following events happen:
-A loss or tie for Mount St. Mary's at Rider AND a loss or tie for Marist vs. Siena
-A loss or tie for Mount St. Mary's at Rider AND a Marist win vs. Siena
