WEST ORANGE, NJ – The Manhattan Jaspers Men's Golf team competed in the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Championship, hosted by Wagner College, from Montclair Golf Club in West Orange on Monday and Tuesday to conclude the 2024 Fall Slate.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Coming off a stellar second and third round last week at the Nassau Intercollegiate, freshman Louis Vandeputte got the first round started quite nicely with a pair of birdies on holes two and four. He concluded the front nine with an eighth hole birdie. In the second round, the freshman hit five strokes better than the day before, with two birdies.
- Landing an eagle in the first round was Akshay Mandadapu, who sank home an eagle on two shots on the eighth hole of the first round of the Metropolitan Championships.
- Freshman Robert Leo Arnorsson started his tournament with a birdie on the very first hole. Followed by four pars before an eighth hole birdie. Arnorsson would start the second round the same way he started the first.
- Dimitri Mihelakos started both rounds with birdies. Throughout the first round, specifically eight straight holes, he would putt and succeed for par.
- Cabell Faulkner logged one birdie on the 17th hole of the second round.

th in the Sacred Heart Spring Invite at the Eagle Harbor Golf Club in Connecticut.
