GLEN COVE, NY – The Manhattan Jaspers Men's Golf team competed in the Nassau Intercollegiate from Nassau Country Club on Long Island, hosted by LIU, on Monday and Tuesday afternoons.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- After struggling in the opening round posting nine over par, freshman Louis Vandeputte bounced back in the ensuing two rounds to break even and stay three over par to capture 16.84 points throughout the two days.
- In the second and third rounds, Robert Leo Arnorsson bounced back from the first round, and shot five over par in the second round, highlighted by a 16th hole birdie. In the third round, Arnorsson finished the front nine with a birdie on the ninth green to cap off a six over par afternoon.
- Chipping in four birdies throughout the Intercollegiate was Cabell Faulkner, who saw the greens exceptionally in the second and third rounds.
- As a group, the Jaspers led the way in the second round, shooting 16 over par, which was right in the middle of the 13-team pack.

Manhattan travels to the Garden State to partake in the Metropolitan Intercollegiate hosted by the Northeast Conference's Wagner Seahawks on Monday, October 28 and Tuesday, October 29, from Montclair Country Club.
