Jaspers to Take on Sacred Heart Thursday Night

The Manhattan women's soccer team will continue home play on Thursday, September 7 when it hosts Sacred Heart at Gaelic Park for a Thursday night match-up at 7 p.m.

The Path: The Jaspers are coming off a tie to LIU (0-0) bringing their overall season record to 1-2-1. This will be the last out of conference game for the Jaspers, as they begin conference play Saturday, September 9 vs Siena. 

Leading the Way: Arancha Antunes and Kaylee Stowell have scored one goal apiece for the Jaspers. Margaret Brunk has made 25 saves at the goalkeeper spot after facing 31 shots. 

All-Time Series: The Jaspers are 1-5 against Sacred Heart. The two teams last played in 2022 where the game resulted in a 1-0 Sacred Heart victory. 

Sacred Heart: Sacred Heart is 0-3-2 to start the season. They're coming off of a tie with Maine (1-1) and loss at Vermont (2-1) in their last two contests.
