Volleyball Home Opener Against CCSU

Wednesday, Saturday, & Sunday September 13th – 17th
Draddy Gymnasium 
Times: 7:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., & 3:00 p.m. 

The Manhattan women's volleyball team will return to action on Wednesday, participating in their home opener against Central Connecticut State University. This match will be followed by their MAAC home opener against Saint Peter's University on Saturday. They will then close out the week against Rider University on Sunday.
 
CCSU: The Jaspers last faced the Blue Devils early last season, losing 3-0. The Jaspers and the Blue Devils are currently tied at 3-4 in their head-to-head matchups. The Blue Devils are struggling this season, with a record of 1-9, most recently winning against Saint Peter's 3-2.
 
Saint Peter's University: The Peacocks, the Jaspers' biggest rivals, will battle the Jaspers in Draddy Gymnasium on Saturday for the Jaspers' MAAC home opener. The Jaspers and the Peacocks have a history of 28-13 against each other. Last season, the Jaspers and Peacocks each won a match, with the Jaspers taking the first and the Peacocks winning the second.
 
Rider University: Lastly, the Jaspers will face off against the Broncs on Sunday. The Jaspers hold the all-time record against the Broncs, winning 25 out of 30 matches.
 
Leaders: Leading the Jaspers in kills last week were Elenoa Sing and Mikalah Curran, each tallying eight. Stepping up in assists was last season's star, Julieanne McKee, with 19.
