Jaspers Prepare to Participate in Red Flash Classic This Weekend

The Manhattan women's volleyball team will travel to Loretto, PA on Friday, September 1st, to participate in the Red Flash Classic hosted by Saint Francis University. The Jaspers will compete against three teams this weekend, beginning with Saint Francis University, followed by Stony Brook and Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday.

Saint Francis University: The last time the Jaspers faced the Red Flash was in 2015, when they defeated them 3-0. This season, the Red Flash participated in the DoubleTree Invitational, winning two out of the three games in the tournament.

Stony Brook University: The Jaspers have played against the Seawolves 12 times in the past, winning five matches. The most recent match in 2017 resulted in a Jaspers loss, with the Seawolves winning 3-0. The Seawolves most recently participated in the Liberty tournament, securing one victory out of three.

Purdue Fort Wayne: For the final match of the invitational, the Jaspers will face off against the Mastodons for the first time. The Mastodons went 0-3 in the previous tournament this season.
 

Leaders: Leading the Jaspers in the Wildcat Invitational was Sarah Emmons, with 24 assists on day one and 14 on day two.
