RIVERDALE, N.Y. – Following the team's second consecutive MAAC series win last week, the Manhattan Baseball team set to travel to Seton Hall on Wednesday then host the Mount for a Weekend at Clover Stadium.
Wednesday's game against Seton Hall will be broadcast on
FloBaseball while the series against the Mountaineers will be broadcast on ESPN3.
Last week saw the Green and White go an even 2-2 while winning the team's third MAAC series of the year against Siena, winning the final two games of the series to do so. On the week,
Logan Pfannenbecker brought around seven runs, including a career-high four in game two against the Saints. Game three featured
Frankie Marinelli also knocking in four runs for the second time this season.
Seton Hall enters the week with an overall mark of 24-19. Last week, the Pirates secured a 2-1 series victory against Xavier, winning the first two games of the series, as well as securing a midweek win over Lafayette. Earlier in the season, The Hall shared the diamond with MAAC member Rider and took down the Broncs 3-1.
As for the newest member of the MAAC, The Mount, they enter the week with an even record of 21-21 overall and 7-8 in league play. The Mount's scheduled midweek meeting with Maryland was canceled. The series will have significant implications on the team's postseason chances, with the Jaspers currently owning a one-game lead on The Mount in the MAAC standings.
The Mount's offense is powered by Shane Wockley, who is pacing the team in RBI with an impressive 41 while batting .336. On the bump, Cooper Adams has compiled an impressive record of 5-2 and an ERA of 5.22 thus far.
