GAME ONE
The Peacocks got to Jasper starter

Manhattan came up to bat in the sixth facing a 7-1 deficit and would begin to slowly cut into that lead.
Pete Durocher accounted for the two Jasper runs in the inning, knocking them in on an RBI single to make the score 7-3.
In the seventh, Manhattan 's bats came alive. While
Ryan Eaton did line into a double play, one run scored to bring Manhattan within three.
Frankie Marinelli followed that up with an RBI single and then Durocher drew a bases loaded walk to come within one run, 7-6.
Saint Peter's added one run in the eighth to get back to a two-run advantage but Manhattan was not able to get the runs across they needed in the ninth to tie or win the game.
GAME TWO
Saint Peter's kicked off the scoring again in game two utilizing a solo home run in the second inning off the bat of Tyler Smith.
Manhattan responded in the fifth inning thanks to a
Trevor Hansen RBI single to deadlock the score at 1-1. Hansen was set up by a standing triple which was cranked by
Alfredo Delgado. The lead ticked over to Manhattan for good in the seventh inning thanks to the bat of Hansen who provided another RBI single which was followed up by a two-RBI single to right by
Logan Pfannenbecker to make the score 4-1.
The lead shrunk back to one thanks to a two-run seventh inning for the Peacocks but Manhattan made one of those back in the eighth thanks to a clutch single by
Trevor Santos.
The Peacocks regained the ground that Santos gave the Jaspers in the eighth, leaving Jasper pitcher
Trey Packen to seal the deal in a one-run game. Packen struck out two and induced a groundout for the final out to give the Jaspers the series win. Packen earned the first save of his collegiate career this afternoon.
