RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The season continues for the Manhattan baseball team as they prepare to visit the West Coast for a four-game series with the Roadrunners of Cal-State Bakersfield.

Last week, the season began down in DeLand, Fla., with a weekend series against the Stetson Hatters. The Hatters took all three games from the Jaspers, and the Green and White are primed for a rebound this weekend.
Frankie Marinelli and
Jack Lynch reached base safely in all three games in the Sunshine State, with Lynch knocking in two runs.
The Roadrunners will enter the series with a 4-1 record. They took three of four against the Saint Thomas Tommies in their opening weekend series, then defeated Saint Mary's (CA) in a single-game midweek game on Tuesday.
