RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan women's basketball team will host UMBC at Draddy Gymnasium this Sunday at 2 p.m.
The Preview: Last time out, the two teams played on Jan. 2, 2006, with the Jaspers losing, 82-49.
The Opponent: UMBC (1-5) lost their season opener against Townson, 76-72. Through the last two games, they lost to Oregon State (88-52) and Maryland Eastern Shore (70-54). UMBC was led in scoring by Anna Blount had 15 points and five rebounds, against Oregon State. Against Maryland Eastern Shore, Anna Blount also led in scoring with 13 points and seven rebounds
Leading the Way: Nitzan Amar scored a game-high 25 points and recorded 5 rebounds at Howard.
Tegan Young added 10 points while
Jade Blagrove was active on the glass, pulling down 11 rebounds.

What's Ahead: Manhattan will play at home against the University of Vermont on Sat, Dec. 9 at 12 p.m in Draddy Gymnasium.
Kids Clinic: All kids wearing a jersey receive free admission into the game. The team will host a free 45-minute kids clinic postgame for kids ages 5-12 years old. Those interested can register on-site at the game.
