BRONX, N.Y. - The Manhattan men's basketball team will play Fordham this Monday for its fifth non-conference road game and Battle of the Bronx showdown.
Game Info: Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET in the Bronx at Rose Hill Gym. The game will be televised on ESPN+.
Series Info: Monday will mark the first meeting between Manhattan and Fordham since November 12, 2021, Jaspers winning 66-60 in a home victory.
New Beginnings: The 2023-24 season is the first at Manhattan for head coach
John Gallagher. He arrived in Riverdale after being the head coach at Hartford from 2010-2022, during which he accumulated 169 wins, including 15 wins during the pandemic-shortened 2020-2021 season in which the Hawks won the America East Tournament and earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament. Gallagher led Hartford to two other postseason tournaments during his tenure. Before Hartford, Gallagher served as an assistant coach at Boston College, the University of Pennsylvania, Hartford, Lafayette College, and LaSalle University.

Seydou Traore, who finished with 13 points and 8 rebounds for his fifth straight double-digit performance.
Daniel Rouzan finished with 10 points, while
Rokas Jocys and
Jaden Winston finished with 9 apiece.
On the Road Again: Manhattan is 2-2 in road contests with wins over Bryant and Central Connecticut State this season.
What's Ahead: The Jaspers will open Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play, as it hosts Mount St. Mary's on Friday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. in Draddy Gymnasium.
