RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan women's basketball team will play at St. John's University this Sunday, November 19. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Carnesecca Arena.
The Preview: The last time the two teams played was November 16, 2010. The Jaspers fell 77-51.
The Opponent: St. John's won its opener against LIU, 81-44. Through the last two games, St. Johns lost to Monmouth, 74-69, and Penn State, 69-53. They were led in scoring by Unique Drake, who had 24 points against Monmouth. Against Penn State, Makenna Marisa scored 15 points, 4 rebounds, 1 block, and 1 steal.
Leading the Way: Nitzan Amar has a team-best 12.0 points per game.
Anne Bair is next at 10.3 points per game, while
Petra Juric is averaging 7.0 rebounds per game.
Away Games: Manhattan is 1-0 on the road after a 58-44 win over Fordham on Thursday.
What's Ahead: Manhattan will continue to play on the road as it heads to Howard on Nov. 26. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
