RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan men's basketball team will play at Central Connecticut State on Sunday, Nov. 19.
Game Info: Tip-off versus CCSU is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Detrick Gymnasium in Britain, CT. The game will be televised on NEC Front Row.
Series Info: Sunday will mark the second meeting between Manhattan and CCSU.The Jaspers fell to the Blue Devils, 78-67 on Dec. 16.
The Opponent: CCSU is 1-2 to start the season and on a one-game win streak after defeating Framingham St, 99-42.
New Beginnings: The 2023-24 season is the first at Manhattan for head coach
John Gallagher. He arrived in Riverdale after being the head coach at Hartford from 2010-2022, during which he accumulated 169 wins, including 15 wins during the pandemic shortened 2020-2021 season in which the Hawks won the America East Tournament and earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament. Gallagher led Hartford to two other postseason tournaments during his tenure. Prior to Hartford, Gallagher served as an assistant coach at Boston College, the University of Pennsylvania, Hartford, Lafayette College and LaSalle University.

Seydou Traore leads the Jaspers with 15.7 points and 11.3 rebounds.
Brett Rumpel is second on the team in scoring with 12.3 points per game.
What's Ahead: The Jaspers will stay on the road to play No. 5 UConn in Storrs, Conn. on Friday, Nov. 25, the day after Thanksgiving.
