Lawrenceville, NJ -
Senior Bri DeLeo's (Harriman, NY / Monroe Woodbury) 90th-minute strike from directly in front of the goal was blocked away, as No. 4 Rider was able to hold off No. 5 Manhattan by a 2-1 count in MAAC Quarterfinal action at Ben Cohen Field.

* DeLeo set the tone for the Jaspers throughout, and opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a strike from 20 yards out off a turnover.

* The Green & White would continue to pepper the Bronc defense throughout the first half, but was unable to further dent the scoreboard.

* Rider would tie it up in the 48th minute on a Mackenzie Rodriguez goal, before taking a 2-1 advantage in the 68th minute on a Hannah Freeman strike.

* Junior Eve Montgomery (Abington, MA / Whitman-Hanson Regional) would continue apply pressure for Manhattan and put a pair of shots on goal that Bronc goalkeeper Ellie Sciancalepore was able to turn away.

* Rider appeared poised to put the game on ice in the 89th minute only to be denied thanks to a fantastic save by Mains that led to a Jasper counterattack.
