Riverdale, NY -
Senior Jake Nicolosi (West Islip, NY / West Islip) put the finishing touches on Senior Day with his second double-overtime game-winning goal of the season in lifting Manhattan to a 13-12 victory over Siena at Gaelic Park.

* The Jaspers improve to 4-3 and 4-2 in the MAAC with their first win over Saints (0-6; 0-5 MAAC) since the 2006 season.

* By virtue of the triumph, the Green & White will host a MAAC Quarterfinal game at Gaelic Park on Friday, April 30.

* Manhattan, which played its fourth-straight one-goal game, was led by Nicolosi, who scored three of the final five Jasper goals.

* Senior Sean MacKinney (Martinsville, NJ / Bridgewater-Raritan) matched Nicolosi with three goals, while assisting on two of Nicolosi's goals, including the game-winner.

* Siena opened the scoring with back-to-back goals, before Brandon Grinnell (GS, Wakefield, MA / Wakefield Memorial), Luke Hanson (GS, Middletown, NY / Minisink Valley) and Liam Walshe (Jr., Commack, NY / Commack) all found the back of the net in giving the Jaspers a 3-2 advantage with 11:59 to play in the second period.

* After the Saints answered with two scores, graduate student Trevor Pelletier (Miami, FL / Gulliver Prep) tied it up while sparking a 4-0 spurt.

* MacKinney followed that up with back-to-back goals, and sophomore Matthew Scully (Kings Park, NY / Kings Park) capped the run with his first collegiate score.

* The Jaspers took a 7-5 lead at the break, before Grinnell opened the second-half scoring off a feed from sophomore Kyle Gucwa (Pottstown, PA / Bishop Shanahan).

* Manhattan's lead would again reach three at 12-9 with 1:26 to play in third following back-to-back scores from Nicolosi and MacKinney.

* Siena would tie it up with three goals to send it to overtime.

* In the first overtime, senior Brendan Krebs (East Williston, NY / Chaminade) made a pair of big saves, while setting the stage for Nicolosi's game-winner.

* Krebs made a season-high matching 15 saves for the third time this year.

* Manhattan's 13 goals were a season-high, while the Jaspers won 15-of-29 from the Faceoff X.

* The Green & White defense forced 19 turnovers, including eight on failed clear attempts.

* Sophomore Kyle Kobylinski (Bloomfield, NJ / Glen Ridge) was 15-of-28 on faceoffs with eight ground balls.

* Prior to the game, Manhattan recognized its 12-member Class of 2021, while included six graduate students and six seniors.

* The Jaspers will conclude the regular season at Marist on Saturday, April 24 at 7:00 pm.
