Lagrangeville, NY - Junior Sam Taraian (Rehoboth, MA / Dighton-Rehoboth Regional) fired a team-best par 72 to lead the way for Manhattan in the opening round of the Jaspers' dual match with Niagara at Union Vale Golf Course.

The Purple Eagles fired a 291 (+3) on the afternoon, with the Green & White carding a 310 (+22).

Manhattan and Niagara will complete their two-day dual meet tomorrow.
