Manhattan Beats Manhattanville

Riverdale, NY — Manhattan cruised to a 99-42 over Manhattanville on Tuesday afternoon at Draddy Gym. The Jaspers shot a scorching 48 percent (12-of-25) from three en route to victory.

*Ant Nelson was top scorer for Manhattan with 13 points on two of three shooting from long range. 

*Warren Williams and Nick Brennen each provided 12 points with Brennen finding fire from three with a 4-of-6 mark from deep. 

*Josh Roberts and Marques Watson rounded out the list of double-digit scorers with 10 apiece. Roberts was the recipient of a few alley oop passes that got the crowd going. 

*The Jaspers shot 59 percent (38-of-64) from the floor while the Valiants were held to 33 percent (15-of-46) shooting overall.

*Manhattan has Fordham on tap with the Rams coming to Draddy on Friday, November 12 for a 7 p.m tip-off. Due to last season's cancellation, this will be the first meeting between the schools since Manhattan pulled out a 54-53 win in overtime on December 7, 2019.
