Poughkeepsie, NY — Manhattan dropped their MAAC Quarterfinals match-up to Marist by a score of 3-0 on Wednesday night at Leonidoff Field. The scoreline was all squared at 0-0 at halftime before the Red Foxes struck for three goals in the second half.
*The Red Foxes outshot the Jaspers 9-0 in the first half but Manhattan stayed composed behind the strong play of Danny DiMarco in the first half. DiMarco finished with eight saves as his sophomore campaign comes to an end with a total of 68 saves.
* Kyle Galloway netted a brace for the Red Foxes with goals in the 50th and 58th minute. Liam Salmon added the third goal in the 77th minute to cap the scoring activity on the night.
*Manhattan produced seven shots with the entirety of them coming in the second half. The Jaspers earned four corner kicks but couldn't find the back of the net. '
*Marist advances to play the seven seed Monmouth in the semifinal round.
*Manhattan concludes their season at 6-9-2 overall and a 4-5-1 ledger in MAAC play.
*The Jaspers got the job done at home finishing with a 5-2-1 mark at Gaelic Park. Their road record was 1-7-1 on their way to securing the number eight seed in the MAAC Tournament.
*Oswald Annang, Simon Busch, Thomas Hitchins, and Brandon Joseph-Buadi each played their final game representing the Kelly Green and White in the 3-0 loss to Marist.
*Annang paced the Jaspers with six goals this season and Johan Velez tallied the second most with five.
