Box Score (PDF)

Riverdale, NY -
Manhattan ended the game on a 14-3 run, but it wasn't enough as Saint Peter's escaped Draddy Gymnasium with a 67-64 win.

The league-leading Peacocks improve to 14-11 and 11-5 in the MAAC, while the Jaspers fall to 11-13 and 7-8 in the league.

Sophomore Tykei Greene (Queens, NY / Long Island Lutheran) registered his third 20-point performance of the year, finishing with a game-high 21, while classmate Warren Williams (Kingston, Jamaica / St. Benedict's Prep (NJ)) added 13 points.

Trailing 64-50 with 1:29 remaining, Williams hit a layup and split a from the line. Junior Michael Okafor (Toronto, Ontario / Harcum College) then snared an errant pass and quickly converted, before Greene picked off another Saint Peter's pass and converted a layup to slice the lead in half at 64-57 with 30 seconds remaining. Matthew Lee then briefly quelled the momentum by splitting a pair at the line and sophomore Christian HInckson (Queens, NY / Tilton School (NH)) converted a driving layup to make it a six-point game.

The Peacocks again turned it over again and Greene hit a layup to draw the Green & White to within four at 65-61 with five seconds to play. Unfortunately, Saint Peter's converted a pair at the line, before Greene hit a three pointer at the buzzer to provide the final 67-64 count.

After playing the first half to a 26-26 deadlock, the visitors quickly took control of the game early in the second with 10-straight points before opening up a 50-34 advantage with 9:42 to play.

Manhattan would battle back and get it to within eight thanks to a 12-4 spurt, only to see Saint Peter's again stretch its advantage to double-figures.

The Jaspers shot 48.9 percent (22-of-45) from the floor, including 41.7 percent (5-of-12) from deep, and 71.4 percent (15-of-21) from the line.

All 12 Peacocks that played scored, led by Aaron Estrada's team-best 18 points, while KC Ndefo had 11 points, eight rebounds and four blocks.
