Hamden, CT -
Manhattan dropped the final game of a three-game set to Quinnipiac by an 18-3 count at the QU Baseball Field.

The Jaspers will be either the No. 4 or No. 5 seed for the upcoming 2019 MAAC Championship and begin play on Wednesday, May 22 at Richmond County Bank Ballpark, with first pitch tabbed for 3:00 pm.

Graduate student Shawn Blake (Stratford, CT / Elon) had three hits while sophomore Jake Knop (Portland, ME / Portland), classmate Matt Padre (Flemington, NJ / Hunterdon Central) and freshman Nick Cimillo (Airmont, NY / Suffern) each had two hits to pace a 14-hit effort.

Manhattan scored its first run of the game in the sixth inning as Cimillo led off with a double, before freshman pinch-runner Keury Abreu (Bronx, NY / St. Raymond) moved to third on a Padre single. Following a pop out, junior Alex Cerda (Miami, FL / Florida Christian School) plated Abreu with a RBI ground out.

The Jaspers added a pair of runs in the ninth inning on an Abreu RBI fielder's choice grounder and a Dominic Palma (Jr., Hilton, NY / Hilton) RBI single.

Freshman RHP Carson Coon (Meriden, CT / Orville H. Platt) was solid in relief, yielding just one hit over 2.1 innings with four strikeouts.

LHP Chris Enns (6-5) earned the win, striking out six while surrendering one run on seven hits over 6.0 innings
