Junior Alex Cerda (Miami, FL / Florida Christian School) and freshman Nick Cimillo (Airmont, NY / Suffern) each added two hits at the plate, rounding out the multi-hit performers for Manhattan.

Trey Martin finished up 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI while Drake Titus also went 2-for-4 with three RBI to lead the way for the Black Knights.

The Jaspers struck first a run in their first trip to the plate as Franco led off with a single, before stealing second and later coming around on a Cerda double.

Tom Simoes tied it up at 1-1 in the bottom of the second with a RBI double, before Trey Martin hit a two-run homer in the Black Knights' next trip to the plate.

Carter Macias extended the advantage out to 4-1 in the fifth with a solo home run.

Manhattan threatened in the sixth as Cimillo doubled with one out before moving to third on a Matt Padre (So., Flemington, NJ / Hunterdon Central) infield single. Padre would then steal second, but the pair was left stranded as Army West Point RHP Ray Bartoli struck out the next batter before inducing an inning-ending ground out.

RHP Anthony LoRicco earned the win, striking out five while yielding one run on three hits over 4.0 innings, with Bartoli notching the save with six punchouts over 3.0 scoreless frames.
