* One year after pacing the Division I ranks in man-down defense, Manhattan is back at it again and ranks third nationally at 82.4 percent, killing off 14-of-17 EMO opportunities.

Jaspers Take Down Bryant
* Manhattan earned its first-ever win over Bryant by a 9-8 count, while rallying from deficits of four goals in the second and two in the fourth.
* The Bulldogs had outscored the Jaspers 48-20 in three previous match-ups, including posting a 17-3 win in Kelleher's first game in 2016.
* Hanson handed out a career-high four assists, including aiding on the game-winner, with one goal.
* Over the final 5:05, the defense yielded just one shot attempt and forced five turnovers to clinch the win.
* Hanson also added a career-high seven ground balls.
* Manhattan ripped off five-straight goals in 11-plus minutes, which bridged the end of the second quarter and the beginning of third.

Manhattan Defeats SBU In MAAC Lidlifter
* The Jaspers opened league play with a 15-12 win over the Bonnies thanks to a balanced attack that featured nine different goal scorers.
* The 15 goals represent the most since a 20-5 win over Wagner on April 3, 2012.
* MacKinney scored a team-high three goals with two assists in the win over St. Bonaventure after recording two scores and an assist against Lafayette.
* Carroll was 20-for-29 from the faceoff X with a career-high 13 ground balls against the Bonnies while Krebs made six of his nine saves in the fourth quarter.

Giarratana Named MAAC Offensive Player Of The Week
* Giarratana collected MAAC Offensive Player of the Week honors, after leading the Jaspers to an 11-10 season-opening win against Wagner. He earned the award after scoring four goals with two assists and five ground balls.
Giarratana In The School Rankings
* The Sunshine State native is fourth in school history with 90 career goals, 55 career assists and with 145 career points.
* For his career, Giarratana also has four five-goal performances, three four-score outings and eight hat tricks.
Krebs Named MAAC Defensive Player Of The Week
* Krebs made his first career victory a memorable one, turning away 13 saves in the Jaspers aforementioned victory over Wagner. The second-year netminder also collected four ground balls in posting a .565 save percentage.

* Manhattan's victory over Wagner represented just the fourth time in program history that the Jaspers won their season opener.

* Carroll is now 90-for-172 (.523) on faceoffs with a team-leading 36 ground balls.

Parker Garners Preseason All-MAAC Accolades
* Giarratana was cited by Inside Lacrosse and the MAAC as a preseason all-league selection.
* A two-time All-MAAC Second Team honoree, the Sunshine State native registered 23 goals, a career-high 23 assists and a personal-best 46 points in 2018.
* His 1.64 assists per game ranked fourth in the MAAC, while his 23 assists are the most by a Manhattan student-athlete since
Eugene Tanner in 2005, and tied for the sixth-most in a single season.
