Smithfield, RI - Manhattan rallied from a two-goal, fourth-quarter deficit to post a rousing 9-8 win over Bryant in non-conference action at the Conaty Indoor Complex.
With its second-straight victory, the Jaspers improve to 3-2 while the Bulldogs fall to 2-3.

Trailing 8-6 early in the fourth quarter, junior
Luke Hanson (Middletown, NY / Minisink Valley) got the rally started with his first goal of the game before classmate
Trevor Pelletier (Miami, FL / Gulliver Prep) tied it up less than a minute later with a score off a
Brandon Grinnell pass.Â
Manhattan then went up for good with 5:05 remaining when sophomore
Sean MacKinney (Martinsville, NJ / Bridgewater-Raritan) found the back of the net off a Hanson feed.Â
After going in front, the defense picked it up a notch over the final five-plus minutes while yielding just one shot attempt and forcing five turnovers to clinch the win.
Sophomore
Brendan Krebs (East Williston, NY / Chaminade) made eight saves in between the pipes to earn his third win of the year.
Hanson led the way for Manhattan, finishing with one goal, four assists and seven ground balls. Grinnell added two goals and two assists while Pelletier also had a pair of scores to round out the multi-goal performers for the Jaspers.
Marc O'Rourke led Bryant with two goals and two assists while Luke Caracciolo made 15 saves in net.
Notes
* Manhattan is now 2-1 in one-goal games.
* The victory was the first in program history for the Jaspers over the Bulldogs
* Bryant had outscored Manhattan 48-20 in three previous match-ups.
* The Jaspers forced 22 turnovers, killed off both Bulldog extra-man opportunities and held the Bulldogs to just 3-for-7 on fourth-quarter clear attempts.
* On the year, Manhattan has denied the opposition on 9-of-11 man-up situations.Â
* Manhattan ripped off five-straight goals in 11-plus minutes, which bridged the end of the second quarter and the beginning of third. Â
* Hanson now has a MAAC-leading 12 assists and has collected four in each of his last two games.
