The Jaspers enter Friday's match-up 0-2 in the MAAC (2-11 overall) after losing to both Canisius and Niagara on the road this past weekend. The Saints enter the contest 2-0 in the league, defeating first Saint Peter's and then Iona in the first week of MAAC play. Siena is 6-7 overall this season.

The Niagara Purple Eagles used a strong fourth-quarter performance to overtake Manhattan 61-51 on Saturday, January 5.
Tuuli Menna (Helsinki, Finland / Richmond) recorded a career-high 13 rebounds at Niagara, besting all players. She pulled down eight on the defensive end. Both Candela Abejon (Gijon, Spain / USC) and
Kania Pollock (Queens, NY / The Mary Louis Acacdemy) scored 13 for Manhattan. It was a season-high for Abejon, who added three rebounds, two blocks and two assists.

The Jaspers and Saints last met on February 16, 2018 with the Jaspers losing 56-54 in overtime at home. The game ended when a jumper by then Jasper
Kayla Grimme, which would have sent the two teams into double OT, was ruled too late by officials. Another alum,
Amani Tatum, put in 25 points for the Jaspers during that game, including a half court three at the end of the first half that put Manhattan within two of the Saints going into the locker room. It was the second overtime game in three days for Manhattan, and the second of three total OT games Manhattan would play last season.
Series History
Siena leads the all-time series 44-22. The last time the Jaspers took on the Saints in Loudonville was January 26, 2018, when Manhattan used a 15-4 fourth-quarter run to cut Siena's lead to as little as three. But the Jaspers were ultimately unable to overtake the Saints, losing the contest 56-51.
