Ryan Funk and Brian Parker each matched Mack with 17 points to pace five double-figure scorers for the Red Foxes.

In the opening stanza with the score tied at 12-12, Marist used an 18-1 run en route to opening up a 17-point advantage with 4:33 to play until halftime.

The lead would grow to 20 before Manhattan knocked down five-straight shots to end the stanza in trimming the deficit to 43-26 at intermission.

Early in the second half with the Red Fox advantage at 18, the Jaspers made things interesting with a 15-3 spurt. Fueling the charge were a pair of triples from Mack and one each from senior Thomas Capuano (Hastings-on-Hudson, NY / Ione Prep) and freshman Samir Stewart (Fort Lauderdale, FL / American Heritage), as the visitors were able to draw to within 50-44 with just under 11 minutes remaining.

Unfortunately, the Jaspers were unable to further dent the deficit as Darius Hines answered on the ensuing possession and the Red Fox advantage never dipped below seven the rest of the way.
