Manhattan To Play For Playoff Berth Saturday At 1:00 PM

Niagara University, NY - By virtue of yesterday's split and other results around the MAAC, the winner of Saturday's Manhattan-Niagara 1:00 pm series finale will earn the sixth and final tournament berth for next week's conference tournament at Richmond County Bank Ballpark in Staten Island.
 
The Jaspers will aiming for their fourth tournament berth in the last five years with two of them coming on the final day of the regular season.

Notes From Yesterday's Split:
* With their game two victory, the Jaspers improve to 25-0 when scoring more runs than the opposition, including 13-0 during league play.

* The Flemington connection of senior Michael Pfenninger and freshman Matt Padre combined to go 7-for-11 with two doubles, a home run, five runs, four RBI and four walks in yesterday's split.
* Manhattan improved to 7-3 in one-run games during MAAC play.

* The Jaspers are a perfect 3-0 in extra-inning games.

* Sophomore RHP T.J. Stuart became the first player in school history to crack double-figures in saves in a season.

* Junior RHP Logan Muratalla won for the third time in as many weekend.
