With no change in score at the end of seven, the Jaspers and Seawolves headed into extra innings. In the top of the eighth, Stony Brook's Melissa Rahrich singled through the left side to drive in a run, giving the Seawolves a 6-5 advantage. The Jaspers went three up three down in the bottom of the eighth, unable to put together a second comeback of the game and falling to Stony Brook 6-5.
