CLOCKWORK

Wednesday's action begins at 4:00 pm, which is Manhattan's latest start since February 28. On the flip side, Saturday's 9:30 am opening draw is the earliest start for the Jaspers this season.

CONFERENCE RANKS

Heading into the week, Manhattan ranks third in the MAAC in ground balls per game (19.6), turnovers per game (17.5) and goals-against average (10.50). The Jaspers also rank in the top five in assists per game, draw controls per game and caused turnovers per game.

ALL NEW YORK FROM HERE ON OUT

For the remainder of the regular season, Manhattan will play its games in New York State. Marist is the farthest the Jaspers will travel, with a battle against Iona on Wednesday, April 11 the only other road game after Wednesday.

SCOUTING THE RED FOXES

Marist enters Wednesday's tilt at 5-4 and a 1-0 MAAC record following a 14-3 win over Monmouth last Saturday. Like Manhattan, the Red Foxes defeated Vermont and fell to La Salle earlier this year.

Four different Red Foxes have tallied at least 26 points this year, including Preseason All-MAAC midfielder Hailey Wagner. Samantha Mehalick leads the team and is third in the conference with 31 goals.

In net, freshman Delaney Galvin is the reigning MAAC Defensive and Rookie of the Week, as she ranks around the league's best in saves and save percentage.

Wednesday marks the 24th meeting all-time between the Jaspers and the Red Foxes. Marist leads the series 12-11 and has won the past two meetings. Manhattan's last win against Marist came in 2015, a 9-8 victory in which Hodapp netted the game-tying goal.

SCOUTING THE PURPLE EAGLES

Niagara heads into Saturday's contest with a 4-7 record overall, going 1-1 in conference play so far. The Purple Eagles have lost seven of their last eight games.
