West Long Branch, NJ - The Manhattan College Jaspers (10-14, 7-6 MAAC) travel to West Long Branch, NJ to take on Monmouth Hawks (7-17, 5-8 MAAC) for the second time this season. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m., at the OceanFirst Bank Center. The match-up will be streamed live on ESPN3.

Top Storylines:
  • In the last meeting of the Jaspers and Hawks on January 28 at Draddy Gymnasium, Manhattan closed out the game on a 14-2 run en route to a convincing 63-53 win. Amani Tatum (Cambria Heights, NY / James Madison) had 11 points and eight steals, while Gabby Cajou (Stony Point, NY / North Rockland) paced three double-figure scorers with 13 points to go along with a career-high seven steals.
  • Monmouth holds a slight 13-11 all-time series advantage over the Jaspers.
  • Originally picked to finish 10th in the MAAC preseason poll, Manhattan is currently third in the league in scoring defense, allowing just 61.5 points per game. The Jaspers are third in field goal percentage (.399) and fourth in three-point field goal percentage (.317), with Kayla Grimme (Altoona, PA / Altoona Area), Tatum, and Cajou ranked among the top 30 scorers in the league. The Jaspers lead the MAAC in rebounding defense at 33.7 per game, and have the third-highest rebounding margin at +0.6. The team is fourth in steals per game (8.2) and assists per game (14.1).
  • Monmouth tops the charts in many of the MAAC's rebounding categories, including leading the league in total rebounding offense at 40.3 per game and defensive rebounds (27.5 per game). The Hawks also pull down 12.8 offensive rebounds per contest, good for second place in the MAAC, and they hold the highest rebounding margin at +3.5. However, Monmouth ranks in the bottom half of the league in many offensive stats, including total scoring offense (53.9) and average field goal percentage (.366).
  • Tatum currently ranks 22nd among Division I players in three-point field goal percentage (43.7). She is 26th in the country for steals overall this season (66) and 31st in steals per game (2.75). Tatum also leads the MAAC in these category, as well as in assists per game (4.3). 
  • Grimme is currently seventh in the MAAC in scoring (14.5) per game and fourth in rebounding (7.9) per game. She is first in offensive rebounding (3.3) per game and second in blocked shots (1.7) per game. 
  • Cajou ranks second in the league in field-goal percentage (.503). She is fourth in assists (3.9) per game, sixth in steals per game (1.9), and holds the league's fourth-best assist/turnover ratio at 1.9.
