Smithfield, RI - Manhattan continues its 2017 season with its third weekend tournament, taking on homestanding Bryant, Brown and Stony Brook as part of the Hampton Inn-vitational.

Freshman middle blocker
Erin Hoener earned All-Tournament honors at the Holy Cross Invitational last weekend after averaging 2.10 kills per set while hitting at a .228 clip. The Saint Louis native blasted a career-high 16 kills on .517 hitting with two blocks and two aces. On the year, she paces the Jaspers with 44 kills, 22 blocks and seven service aces.
Rehrer-ing to Go
Junior
Alyssa Rehrer is averaging 4.92 digs per set and is on pace for a career year. After notching 296 digs in her freshman season and 266 last season, she already has a team-high 118 digs through seven matches. At that rate, she would finish the regular season with approximately 522 digs. Rehrer also was named to the WIU Leatherneck Invitational after averaging 5.5 digs per set.
Leading The Way
Hoener paces all MAAC qualifiers with a .314 hitting percentage. Rehrer ranks second with 118 digs while junior
Zoe Lindsey's 5.86 assists per set are sixth in the conference.

As a team, Manhattan is fourth in the MAAC in opponent hitting percentage (.225), blocks per set (1.67) and digs per set (13.08).

Bryant Scouting Report
The Bulldogs are riding a four-game losing streak, including a 3-0 defeat to New Hampshire on Tuesday. Overall, Bryant is 2-6 in the season.

This will be the third meeting in series history between the Jaspers and the Bulldogs with Bryant holding a slim 2-0 edge.

Brown Scouting Report
Manhattan plays Brown for the second time in a week. The Bears overcame the Jaspers 3-0 at the Holy Cross Invitational last Friday. Brown is 3-0 this year after winning last weekend's tournament.

Stony Brook Scouting Report
The Seawolves are 3-5 in 2017 following a five-set loss to local rival Hofstra on Tuesday. Emily Costello leads the team with 89 kills while Kiani Kerstetter sets the defensive tone with 124 digs.
