Brooklyn Heights, NY - Despite winning the first set in thrilling fashion, Manhattan dropped a 3-1 decision to St. Francis Brooklyn in non-conference action at the Genovesi Center.
The Terriers improve to 6-9 while the Jaspers fall to 0-14.
Junior
Sandra Lozanova (Pernik, Bulgaria / Fresno State) paced Manhattan with 10 kills, on .286 killing, while freshman
Erin Hoener (St. Louis, MO / Incarnate Word) rounded out the top performers for the visitors with seven kills, on .583 hitting.
St. Francis Brooklyn was paced by Aleksandra Gligoric's match-high 19 kills while Ally Speweik added 11 kills.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Lozanova has registered double-figures in kills in three of the last four matches.
- Manhattan's .210 hitting percentage was its second-best mark of the season.
