Riverdale, NY - Fueled by four different goal scorers and a stingy defense, Manhattan (3-2-0) rolled to a 7-0 win over VMI (0-3-2) at Gaelic Park.

Juniors Callum Carsley (Birmingham, England / Princethorpe College) and Lucas Da Silva (West Palm Beach, FL / Palm Beach Atlantic) as well as sophomore Noah Amissah (London, England / Orleans Park) scored twice, while freshman Brandon Joseph-Buadi (Shoreham-by-Sea, England / Woodard) tallied his second goal of the year as the Jaspers stayed undefeated at home.
Â
The onslaught began in the 10th minute when Joseph-Buadi fired a shot from the right of the box past VMI goalkeeper Jon Harrington. Forty-nine seconds later, sophomore Leonard Sohn (Richmond Hill, Ontario / Bill Crothers Secondary) found Carsley, who tapped it in to make it 2-0. Carsley then connected with Da Silva on a cross for Manhattan's third goal in less than two minutes.
Â
Da Silva registered his second of the game in the 17th minute to make it 4-0, giving him four points in his last three contests.
Â
In the second half, Manhattan was awarded a penalty kick in the 49th minute, and Carsley deposited the ball in the net for his second of the game to make it 5-0 Jaspers.
Â
Amissah would control the offense from that point by capitalizing on a feed from Joseph-Buadi in the 55th minute and converting another penalty kick in the 74th minute.
