Macomb, IL - Manhattan concluded play at the Leatherneck Invitational with a 3-0 loss to Evansville at Western Hall.
In defeat, the Jaspers fall to 0-3 while the Purple Aces improve to 2-0.
Evansville won by scores of 25-7, 25-17 and 25-23.

* Freshman
Monika Simikic (Laguna Niguel, CA / Aliso Niguel) paced Manhattan with eight kills while
Erin Hoener (St. Louis, MO / Incarnate Word) had five kills and four blocks.
* Junior
Alyssa Rehrer (Lofton, VA / South County) had 24 digs while classmate
Zoe Lindsey (McHenry, IL / McHenry CC) notched 12 assists to round out the double-figure performers for Manhattan.
* Rehrer recorded double-digits in digs in all three matches, including posting at least 20 in each of the last two.
* 11 different student-athletes earned starts for the Jaspers.
